How to create hotspot using cmd.

Ok guys welcome back again. Hope you guys are fine and today we ganna learn how to create hotspot using cmd. Hope that you guys will like this post . So lets move towards our topic…

Stop using third party software to create hotspot now be smart and create your own hotspot. Here is the simplest ways mentioned.

Step 1 :- Firstly open comand prompt as administration by click windows_key+X” and selecting “command prompt(Admin)” from the menu.

Step 2 :- Now you have to type the command given below to start hotspot..

•Note:change hotspot and password using your hotspot name and password if you want to keep something else

netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=Hotspot key=Password

This command will set the name and password for your device and allow you pc to start hotspot

Step 3 :- After the above the next step to start hotspot is to type this second command. This below command will start hotspot..

netsh wlan start hostednetwork

 

Step 4:- Now exit cmd and follow this steps. Your hotspot have been created successfully but it doesnot have internet access . For internet access you need to do  something more

Step 5 :- Now right click on wifi signal or directly go to Network And Sharing and than click on change adaptor setting.

• Note :- you can open network and sharing center through control panel or by right clicking on the wifi/computer icon at the right bottom on desktop.

Step 6 :- Now you will see a new window there you have to do right click on Internet Connection and select properties option .

Step 7:- Now in the properties go to Sharing tab and click the box “Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s internet connection”

8. Now drop down and select the network connection name that is used by you for  your hotspot. (For this required information check the Network Connection Window and look for connection which says Microsoft Hosted Network Virtual)

Your hotspot is now started successfully and running fully

If you want ti stop your hotspot, run the below command in command prompt with the  administrative rights.

netsh wlan stop hostednetwork

And to start the hotspot again, you have to run the below command in command prompt with administrative rights.

netsh wlan start hostednetwork
